ABOUT ME

I grew up in London and moved to Devon aged 10. I had a difficult time in school and this is where I experienced my first therapeutic relationship. Aged 16, I decided counselling was my path and here I am now, 17 years on, providing a safe and empathic space for others to share their stories with me.

I have participated in a wide variety of therapies and psycho-education throughout my life. This has allowed me to acknowledge and process painful memories of my past and build deeper relationships with my family and friends. I've learnt how trauma can impact the mind, body and emotions and how to move towards a healthy and compassionate relationship with myself and therefore with others.

I believe that the relationship we have with ourselves and our community is a fundamental part of human existence and a core need for each of us. With relationship comes responsibility, acceptance and authenticity. Building curiosity and compassion into these relationships is at the centre of my practice.

Alongside my Private Practice I also run Sapphire Practice Rooms with my good friend and colleague.

In my spare time I try to get outdoors with my pup, Salty, as often as possible. I enjoy an active lifestyle which includes hiking, camping, surfing, mountain biking, running, reading and socialising with my loved ones. All of these elements providing additional therapy of sorts and fuel for my soul.
